Mission Statement

Hope organization is a non-profit, non-partisan organization

to promote peace and democracy in the Palestinian territory.

We are involved in:

o Intellectual and humanitarian matters ….

o Defend the law and order and human rights ….

o Capacity building and creating jobs …..

o Helping building democratic community and freedom of expression …

o Women empowerment and upgrading their skills …

o Facing the Un-employment through job creation projects …

o Providing projects for food security ….

o Encourage dialogue for solving social problems …

Due to the successive changes & developments and relating to the need of stabilized attitude, it is now the necessity to maintain the cultural aspects and create the tolerant community. Through our believe to reach a stable community by the solution of Two States for Two People and building open minded society which can participate normally in life and be basic part of the international community to build peace and prosperity for our people .

Hope through believing in these meanings, find approaches and define its strategy for the year 2008 as follows:-

1. Expand programs of Agriculture , food Security and home productions to maintain stability of rural areas, families and the development of traditional food industry to provide income and insure the continuity of work for the families. The objective is to promote a culture of the national product and stop tendencies for immigration.

2. Concentrate on human rights programs through intensive seminars, brainstorm meetings and workshops. Follow -up issues such as the detainees, practices of the police, the judiciary and the local government.

Democracy will still our goal in the context of human rights as a must govern relations within the Palestinian community through programs of young leaders which is part of human rights programs.

3. Debate programs: Our experiences has proved the strong effect of these programs as they focus on topics on public opinion and call for participation in the open democratic dialogue, discuss the causes and remedies .This experience has contributed in supporting our plans in the public and private disputes and encouraged us to develop.

4. Empowerment of women programs: a continuation and development of this program. Hope has the great experience and will continue to work to upgrade women's culture, awareness and skills in the area of computer and management of projects as well as Professional Make up,Facial treatment and Building nails programs.

5. Training programs: with the continuous success of these programs, Hope aspire to expand more in these programs especially after Hope obtained the official license from the Ministry of Labor and now the trainees (women or men) can get an official and signed certificate. Also Hope has a successful record in training sessions on the areas of the Internet, public relations courses, social relations and global knowledge.

6. Gender programs: The issue of youth has a bigger interest in our work as we believe they are the future and the present in this world .In order to move on right track, we develop programs for youth as "know your Native Country" , "choose your future" , and "choose your career".

These are addresses of our action plan for 2008. We are calling for support and looking forward to broader cooperation to ensure the success of the experiment and enrich knowledge.

We choose Hope as our name so we can light

a candle in the darkness.
