Hope organization is a non-profit, non-partisan

organization to promote peace and democracy

in the Palestinian territory by encouraging

understanding and mutual respect among

all people. Hope will work as a resource

network center for both organizations and

individuals who are engaged in promoting

these same goals educationally, culturally, socially, spiritually, and politically.

Hope's purpose is to offer solutions, choices, opportunities and hope for the women and young adults (both males and females) to improve their career.

Hope is directed by an experienced, energetic board who are dedicated to a fair and equal peace for all people. Hope organization was originated as an umbrella organization to assist others who are actively working to improve relationships among Palestinians.

Hope organization is most interested in cooperative projects that develop deeper understandings for cultural, national, and religious differences, including dialogue groups, people-to-people development projects, women's advancement programs and leadership training for youth. Hope focuses on raising public awareness networking.

Hope org., was founded to develop attitudes and skills that foster peaceful resolutions to conflict. At the same time, Hope seeks to cultivate positive values within Palestinian society and build relationships between Palestinian youth and other cultures as a basis for creating understanding and peaceful relations among the peoples of the world.

At the heart of Hope organization is Peace and Democracy education. Peace and Democracy education strives to:

" Provide skills to resolve conflicts constructively

" Inform and implement international standards of human rights

" Promote gender and racial equality

" Appreciate cultural diversity

Such learning cannot be achieved without intentional, sustained, and systematic education for peace and democracy. Hope plays a central role - in this system, it provides a solid foundation on which these values can be taught.
